Celery Seed Ground

Ground celery seed is made from whole celery seeds that have been finely ground into a powder. This spice retains the strong, earthy, and slightly bitter flavor of the whole seeds, but in a more concentrated and easily dispersible form.

Suggested use: It's often used in salad dressings, marinades, and spice rubs. Ground celery seed can be mixed into vinaigrettes, barbecue sauces, or dry rubs for meats to impart a unique, earthy flavor. Ground celery seed can also be incorporated into bread doughs and cracker recipes to add a subtle, savory note. It's particularly popular in recipes for rye bread and savory biscuits.
