2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp honey
One 2" piece fresh ginger, unpeeled, thinly sliced
1 tsp Vanillablossom Vanilla Extract
1 cinnamon stick
4 Vanillablossom Black Peppercorns
1/2 tsp ground cardamom
1/8 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
2 cups water
4 black tea bags, such as Darjeeling or English Breakfast
Combine all ingredients except teabags into a small saucepan. Simmer on stovetop for 5 minutes, then remove from heat and add the tea bags. Steep tea bags in mixture for ten minutes.
Strain or scoop out any solids and serve warm with or without milk. Try condensed milk for a more traditional flavor!
Refrigerate remainder for up to 5 days.
